The possessive adjectives are:

  • MY
  • YOUR
  • HIS
  • HER 
  • ITS
  • OUR
  • YOUR
  • THEIR

We use possessive adjectives before the noun.

 

Examples:

  • MY book is on the table.
  • YOUR books are on the shelf.
  • HIS sister is sixteen.
  • My dog and ITS pillow are on the sofa.
