Affirmative form

Use the affirmative form of the present continuous for future plans:

  • I'm going to Paris next weekend.
  • I'm leaving tomorrow.
  • She is having a party on Sunday.

Negative form

Use the negative form of the present continuous for future plans:

  • I'm not going to Paris next weekend.
  • I'm not leaving tomorrow.
  • She is not having a party on Sunday.

Interrogative form

Use the interrogative form of the present continuous for future plans:

  • Are you going to Paris next weekend?
  • Are you leaving tomorrow?
  • Is she having a party on Sunday?
